Butterfly, Australia’s leading charity dedicated to supporting individuals with eating disorders and body image concerns, has made an important update to its National Helpline services. This improvement is designed to streamline communication and provide more efficient, organised support for those in need.
To make it easier for people to reach out, Butterfly has replaced its previous email support system with a user-friendly web form. This change simplifies the process for those seeking help, ensuring quicker and more effective responses. While the support@butterfly.org.au email address is no longer in use, you can still contact Butterfly through the National Helpline at 1800 ED HOPE (1800 33 4673) or by using the web chat service, which is available 7 days a week from 8 am to midnight (AEST/AEDT). You can access the new webform here: Butterfly National Helpline Webform.
The Butterfly National Helpline remains a trusted source of confidential and compassionate support for anyone impacted by eating disorders, including individuals, parents, carers, and healthcare professionals. Whether through phone calls or web chat, you’ll be connected with qualified mental health professionals who specialise in eating disorders and body image issues.
To ensure those who need support can easily access Butterfly’s services, please update the contact information on your platforms and share this change within your networks. For more information on Butterfly’s Telehealth services, visit www.butterfly.org.au.
